NJSB was founded in 2019 by Mr. and Mrs. Nelford Tumala.
The name NJSB came from the combined first letters of the
family members' names: Nelford and Jessiemer, and their
children Saint, Bless and Bless Vivory. More than a business
name, NJSB represents the family's passion for delivering
quality services and products with care.
The idea of establishing the store grew from Mrs. Jessiemer
Tumala's experience as a public-school faculty member and
trusted layout artist. At the time, there were limited
printing shops in Ozamiz City able to cater quickly to the
printing needs of teachers and DepEd personnel. In 2019,
she left DepEd and, several months later, rented a small
space in front of the New Lamchiong Building in Ozamiz City
to begin NJSB as a printing shop.
The business began with a very small team. As customers
continued to trust NJSB's quick and quality service, the
shop grew and moved to a larger adjacent space in 2020.
The growing operation also opened opportunities to train
and employ additional people.
When COVID-19 temporarily closed the shop, the business
adapted. From home, essential products such as face masks
were produced and offered during a period of high demand
and limited supply. When restrictions eased, NJSB reopened
and continued investing in production capability, including
sublimation equipment.
NJSB's growth later expanded beyond Ozamiz. A branch was
opened in Tangub, followed by expansion to Iligan. Through
the changes, the company has continued to pursue the same
goal: dependable, creative and customer-focused service.
